10.10.10 Special Edition!

8:00 AM -
Just Starting our morning with some Daisy and some tea. I couldn't decide which photo to use, so I went with both.

8:30 AM -
Fancy tea from Teavana.

9:30 AM -
Off to IKEA for some new furniture. I am lucky enough to have fantastic friends (Shamindra & Hayley) that let me borrow their truck & my wonderful mom to help me lift stuff! Thank you! Thank you!

10:30 AM -
Boxes and Boxes of IKEA in my livingroom.

12:30 AM -
Yard debris clean up! YAY!

1:30 PM -
We are back home cleaning up the muddy truck before I return it to Shamindra.

3:30 PM -
Pho Van for a delightful bite to eat before the work starts again!

4:30 PM -
Couch building...more than I ever wanted to participate in. Daisy very much enjoyed it.

6:30 PM -
The dogs are fully settled on the couch. Daisy loves the chaise more than anything I have ever bought her before.
9:30 PM - Cuddled in for Mad Men.

September's 10 on the 10th!

6:30 AM -
Even though the dogs and the chickens managed to stay asleep, I woke up way too early.

7:30 AM -
I got out of bed and reheated my food from Sanborn's. I love that place!

8:30 AM -
I went out to take care of the chickens.

9:30 AM - Running a few errands in town.

12:00 PM - I met up with a friend for lunch. We went to the Blue Olive and it was fantastic as usual. Everyone knows that you can't go wrong frying cheese! Also, I was pleased to learn that they now have a NW 23rd location. I forgot to take a photo, so I took this one off the web. Thanks to whomever I stole it from!

2:00 PM - I went to a funeral. This is the first funeral that I have attended with a military service. It was impressive.

5:00 PM - Daisy girl hanging out.

6:00 PM - Start of the homework!

7:00 PM - Time for a tea break.

8:00 PM - Back to reading.

12:00 PM -
I ate my lunch around 10:45 today and my lunch meeting was canceled, so I snacked on some peanut butter pretzels. Delicious!

4:00 PM -
Since, several pictures of my computer would be boring, I thought I would skip to 4, when Morgan and I headed for home! Wahoo!

5:00 PM -
Chatting on the phone with Polly. It was great to talk with her.

6:00 PM -
I went outside and picked a few tomatoes out of the garden.
7:00 PM -
I did a little bit of Union budget work.
8:00 PM -
Dinner time! Caprese Panini, possibly my favorite summer meal.

9:00 PM -
Yoga time.

10:00 PM -
After yoga and a super awesome chat with my Uncle, I played with the puppies for a bit.

11:00 PM -
I sit down to watch Lucky Louie. Hilarious!

I worked hard to get one photo each hour, but I certainly did not manage it.

Our lovely chickens woke me up at 7:00 AM this morning. I got up opened the coop, took a photo and went back to bed.

Stella and I are still lounging around in bed.

I am up and working on several new bridges. This will become the Fremont Bridge.

Still working of art. I managed to start two bridges and gesso paper for 4 more.

12:00 PM

Break from art. I wandered out to feed the chickens (finally) and found that one of my dahlias are in bloom.

While I was cleaning the house, Stella is watching the front yard.

I wandered out to the front porch while I chatted with a friend on the phone.

I pulled the lasagna out of the freezer for Juleen and Kevin's house warming party.

Happy Birthday Michelle!

In honor of Michelle's 30th birthday, we wanted to share 30 things you should know about Michelle.

1. Michelle was born with SUPER blonde hair.
2. By her seventh birthday all she could think about was purple and ponies and sometimes, purple ponies.
3. Michelle has ALWAYS been a gardener.
4. Michelle is on Team Edward.
5. By the age of 3 Michelle had watched Annie a million times and knew all the words to The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow. We have some awesome video of this.
6. When we were little, Michelle came up with a plan to use the walkie talkies in our bedrooms when we went to bed....that got us in A LOT of trouble.
7. Michelle's #1 dreamboat is John K. Samson.
8. Michelle went through a pretty severe Bob Marley phase, minus the weed.
9. Michelle refused to wear jeans until she was 8 or 9 years old.
10. Art has always been important to Michelle.
11. Michelle likes food, especially fancy food, especially fancy Indian food.
12. Michelle is a chicken farmer.
13. She loves Curb Your Enthusiasm.
14. Michelle was born on June 7, 1980 in Bend, Oregon.
15. Michelle once got a hickey from a baby deer.
16. Water parks, water slides, and swimming pools make Michelle smile.
17. Michelle makes some of her own clothes.
18. Michelle used to work at a feed store, Albertsons, a preschool, at a Mercedes dealership, as a nanny, and at a nursery.
19. Michelle played softball. She pitched, played first base and swung a mean bat.
20. Michelle has been to the city that never sleeps.
21. If you don't get Michelle an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen for her birthday, she will be so disappointed.
22. Michelle is a tea connoisseur.
